How to Apply
To begin the online application process, use the following link to Create an Account.
Once an account has been created you will receive an email containing a verification link. Verify your account and now can log into your account and "Create a New Student Application" for your child(ren).
The application process should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Your information can be saved in case you need to quit and come back to it later.
After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, we will contact you for instructions on what is needed to complete the enrollment process.

Screening of Students for Pre-School, PreK and Kindergarten
Students entering the three or four-year-old program who are coming from another program will be asked to submit a form from the previous school. All students entering kindergarten will be invited for a kindergarten screening. Students who miss the cut off (August 1) by two weeks or less can also request kindergarten readiness screening. Kindergarten students who have attended a previous school or childcare program will also be asked to submit a form from the previous school. Admission Requirement for students entering first grade and older:
Information that will be required for consideration of admission
- Last two report cards
- Previous school year state testing
- Letter of recommendation from previous teacher
- Information regarding any learning differences or other special educational situations.
Students from all backgrounds and educational standing are encouraged to apply. St. James is intentionally small and able to help students from a variety of educational situations. The principal and faculty will work with you and your student to ensure we can meet their needs.
