St. James School Volunteer Service Commitment
School Year 2007-2008

Parent/Guardian:

You are a vital part of our school community! Your active participation has a direct impact on keeping the cost of tuition and fees down. All school families are required to perform a minimum of 20 hours of service in various volunteer activities, with mandatory service of at least 5 hours in the cafeteria. In lieu of cafeteria service, parents/guardians may buyout all or part of their hours at a rate of $10.00 per hour.

Although you may "buy out" your cafeteria hours, we strongly encourage you to give of your time and talent. The old adage "the more you give, the more you receive" certainly holds true in this instance. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., or friends over the age of 21 can be your designee.

Many various service opportunities are available for signup. Hopefully, several of them will be convenient with your schedule. Signups are on a first-come-first-serve-basis. Online signup is preferred; however, forms can be obtained from the school office upon school opening. Signups must be submitted by September 14, 2007.

To process online, first complete and submit the Saint James School Service Signup Form. This will then allow you to access and submit the various Service Opportunity Signup Forms.

If you have already filled out the School Service Signup Form, select a Service Opportunity below to volunteer.

Please call Kelly Yurt at 451-1420 ext. 12 should you have any questions.

AS A TEAM, WE WILL ACCOMPLISH MORE!
