PTO meetings are held on the third Wed. of the month. No meeting is held in Dec. They begin at 7:00 p.m. in the teachers' workroom.
November 15, 2012 Meeting
In Attendance: Tom Schmitt, Mrs. Snapp, Angela Jones, Myra Michele, Holly Liter, Lourdes Halliday, Rebecca Brauner and Bridget Linehan.
MrsHalliday, PTO President, distributed a meeting agenda and the PTO Treasurer’s Report. Mr. Schmitt distributed the October PTO Minutes.
Treasurer, Holly Liter, gave the Finance Report. Movie Night brought in about $200.00 the exact figure was unknown at this time and will be investigated.
Discussion re Easy Money Sweepstakes: It was noted that EMS is not a PTO fundraiser.
The PTO for the PreS and PreK rooms donated thermometers.
Discussion regarding Volunteer Spot:MrsHalliday asked if everyone thought it worked well. In general, everyone agreed that it did.
Christmas Flower Sales by Holly Liter: Orders must be in by Dec. 7 so they can be delivered Dec. 14.
Santa Shop assembly will be Dec. 3 and will conclude with the Santa Brunch Dec. 9.
Angelic Auction discussion: Holly stated that the PTO usually helps run the tables the night of the Auction. AA is not a PTO function. An announcement should be placed in the Pony to remind everyone that it is coming soon.
Wish List Discussion: Mrs. Snapp has all of her wishes. Mrs. Hagman still needs a Scientific Scale, Mrs Hoskins would like to see Big Wheels in the gym and Safety Patrol needs 7 large umbrellas. Holly Liter volunteered to buy the umbrellas.
New Business: The PTO will give twenty-dollar gift cards to each teacher for Christmas. Lunchroom tables need to be cleaned or decorated for the Thanksgiving lunch. Twelve large rectangular tablecloths and nine round table clothes are needed.
