Being a part of the Birthday Book Club is a great way to create a lasting memory for your family at St. James and help our library acquire much needed new and hardback books.

Send a check for $15.00 (to assist with the cost of a hardback book) to the library made out to St. James School. Include your child's name, birth date and teacher/grade.

At least two weeks before your child's birthday, your child will select a book from a collection of titles. We will then place an order for that particular book.

On your child's birthday, the donation will be recognized during the morning announcements. Your child will receive a Birthday Club Certificate in honor of the donation.

When the book arrives, we will place a book plate inside indicating it was donated in honor of your child's birthday. Your child will also present the book to the class during the weekly library period.

If your child has a summer birthday, please consider participating by choosing a date during the school year, such as a half-birthday.

Please note - Anyone can participate in this program: parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins grandparents, friends, etc.
